SCHOTT Pharma Invests $371M in U.S. Prefillable Syringe Mfg. Facility

SCHOTT Pharma, a pharmaceutical drug containment solutions and delivery systems provider, will build its first U.S. facility in Wilson, NC to manufacture prefillable polymer syringes required to meet the need for deep-cold storage and transportation of mRNA medications. The site will also have the capability to produce glass prefillable syringes for GLP-1 therapies, such as those treat diabetes or obesity.
